I walked a mile with Pleasure; She chatted all the way; But left me none the wiser for all she had to say. I walked a mile with Sorrow, And ne’er a word said she; but, Oh! the things I learned from her, when sorrow walked with me. ~Robert Browning

Thrills, Romance and Adventure

Coal River Rd. Tornado, WV
Some of my favorite childhood memories happened right on this road.  Fishing with my Papaw, long walks with my Mom, learning how to cartwheel from my cousin Beth and falling in puppy love with the cutest boy who grew up and asked me to marry him.  I love this old road and the treasures it holds.

I have a fresh new road now, not sure where it will lead me.  One thing I am sure of, God will be with me.  That little boy, who is now a man, we will walk together hand in hand.  Looking to the Lord who made the stars and knows our paths.  Sometimes the unfamiliar road has too many curves in the bend and my steps may falter off the side...but I am thankful for the great peace He provides and the praying ones who help guide.
